I was a Submarine Machinist Mate in the Navy and went to college to be a painter/sculptor. I love design and mechanical things, so when I found out about Cafe Racers it was a great way to combine the two. I collect pictures on the web of other builds and sometimes it does look like builders just slap on some aftermarket parts, a seat hump, clip-ons and call it done.

The new bike by Lotus is everywhere on the web. Designed by the Holzer Group with bodywork  by Daniel Simon( Tron Lightbike and Oblivion Bubble Ship), it is a stunning exercise in design. I like the looks of the bike, but not sure how much functional it is. The Holzer Group designs Moto race bike and the engine is from Rotax so I’m sure it goes. What do you think?
